Adyton Secures Basic Ordering Agreement with the Department of Defense

Dallas, TX, 08/12/24 — Adyton is proud to announce the establishment of a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with the Department of Defense (DOD), effective 08 August 2024 through 07 August 2029. This flexible contract vehicle, sponsored by the US Navy, allows units across all branches of the U.S. military to procure Adyton's innovative software products. This significant milestone reinforces Adyton PBC's ongoing relationship with the Navy and showcases the capabilities of the Adyton Operations Kit's Mustr module, for personnel accountability and coordination.

Key Points

  • Advancing Technology from R&D to Production: The BOA facilitates the transition of Adyton’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) research and development (R&D) efforts with the DOD into production, solidifying Adyton’s role in meeting advanced operational needs for service members.
  • Multi-Customer Flexibility: This agreement enables any units and organizations across all U.S. military branches to adopt technology developed by Adyton, regardless of who initiated the initial R&D. This flexibility ensures broader access and utilization of Adyton’s innovative products, promoting interoperability and standardization across different units and branches.
  • Length and Value of Contracts: Specific tasks and associated funding will be detailed on discrete Delivery Orders, as part of this BOA, over the next five years, and will not be limited by any contract value ceiling. This structure offers substantial flexibility and capacity for DOD organizations to accommodate various project scopes and durations.

“Securing this BOA with the DOD is a significant milestone for Adyton, marking our commitment to reducing friction within defense operations,” said James Boyd, CEO at Adyton PBC. “We are proud to offer the military community cutting-edge solutions that enhance national security, and we look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring over the next five years.”

Adyton’s Mustr module, a cornerstone of the Adyton Operations Kit, will be the focus of the first Delivery Order, now being finalized as the next step of this BOA. Mustr enhances readiness, operational efficiency, and safety within military environments. Adyton is proud to support the continued expansion of Mustr impact, and to support mission-critical operations with reliable and secure mobile software capabilities.
